THE PURPOSE OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA 

The purpose of the register is to maintain Saloton Oy's customer register, process customer orders, invoicing and archiving, and manage customer relations. The data may be used for the development of Saloton Ltd's operations, statistical purposes, customer communications and to provide more personalised content on our online service. Personal data is processed within the limits permitted and required by the EU General Data Protection Regulation. 

The data in the register can be used in Saloton Oy's own registers for targeting advertising without disclosing personal data to third parties. Saloton Ltd may use partners to maintain customer and service relationships. Part of the register data may be transferred to the partner's servers due to technical requirements. The data will only be processed through technical interfaces to maintain the customer relationship with Saloton Ltd. 

Saloton Oy has the right to publish the information contained in the customer register as an electronic or written list, unless the customer specifically objects. A list means, for example, mailing labels for direct mailings. The customer has the right to object to the publication of information by notifying Saloton Ltd's customer service, by e-mail to lasse.aaltonen@saloton.com or by writing to the registrar. 

THE CONTENT OF THE REGISTER 

The register contains the following information: 

- Name 

- Address 

- Phone number 

- Email address 

- Information on services ordered by customers, their delivery and billing 

- Information on maintenance sites for service price calculation (e.g. floor area, number of floors, ventilation system, roofing material) 

REGULAR SOURCES OF INFORMATION 

The information to be stored in the register will be obtained from: 

Based on self-reporting by users of Saloton Oy's services 

- maintenance reports from installers on the site when the service is carried out 

REGULAR DISCLOSURES OF DATA 

The information in the register will not be disclosed to third parties outside Saloton Oy or its partners. 

TRANSFER OF DATA OUTSIDE THE EU OR ETA 

The data in the register will not be transferred outside the EU or EEA. 

PRINCIPLES OF REGISTER PROTECTION 

The register is stored in electronic format. Access to its data requires a username and password. Extensive access to the register is limited to employees of Saloton Ltd who process customer data in the course of their work. Any transfer of customer register data to partner servers is carried out via an SSL encrypted connection. The service providers involved in the service have limited access to the register data via their own password-protected interface. 

DATA STORAGE 

The information in the register is kept for the duration of the customer relationship. The customer relationship is deemed to have ended when the customer notifies us in writing. The customer has the right to request the deletion of his/her data. 

RIGHT OF INSPECTION 

Everyone has the right to inspect the data stored in the register. Customers may request to inspect their own data by contacting the controller in writing at Saloton Oy, Kalkkikiventie 10b, 04300 Tuusula or lasse.aaltonen@saloton.com Requests for inspection will be processed without delay, at the latest within 30 days of receipt of the request. 

THE RIGHT TO REQUEST THE CORRECTION OR DELETION OF INFORMATION 

The customer has the right to request the correction or deletion of data stored in the register. The request should be sent in writing to Saloton Oy, Kalkkikiventie 10b, 04300 Tuusula or lasse.aaltonen@saloton.com. Requests for rectification will be processed without delay, at the latest within 30 days of receipt of the request. 

OTHER RIGHTS RELATING TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA 

The data subject has the right to prohibit the controller from processing data relating to him or her for the purposes of direct marketing, distance selling or other direct marketing, market research and public opinion polling. The request must be made orally or in writing to the controller.
